Erwin Mitchell Community Health Fair

Having participated in the health fair for seven years, the Healthcare Partnership is excited to continue the traditions of past years and bring new features to the event.  Three major changes include:
(1) a new name - the Erwin Mitchell Community Health Fair
(2) a new venue - Dalton’s new Community Center
(3) an additional focus – achieving Healthy Lifestyles

As in the past, the event will serve thousands in our community who have difficulty in accessing health care.  Many past attendees have been diagnosed with serious illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol as a result of their attending.  Others learn about the risk factors for breast, cervical, prostate and other cancers.  Participants including our hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, health care providers, community agencies and various businesses all contribute to make this event successful each year.
